Out to Pasture

Throughout the past week or so, I have gotten a little behind with the blog b/c we have been out at the ranch most of the time spending time with friends and family while Bo does some fencing and ranch work. It has been lots of fun and we got to spend time with one of my LSU students and friends Morgan, as well as my uncle and cousin from Dallas, some other friends, and my parents. It has been a lot of fun and we all love it out there. Especially Lucy, who goes for multiple swims in the tank and mud puddles and enjoys sniffing out bugs and chasing the horses.I think she has actually developed a bond with them, b/c now they sniff each other nose to nose and seem to like it:)

Sadie's favorite are the cows. She loves to go on rides in the golf cart to see the "moo-moos." We also got to feed the horses which was a highlight for her and she is enjoying the new swings out there as well. The heat doesn't seem to bother her too much and she loves running around the yard and exploring.

It rained while we were out there and it was so beautiful! I love the summer rain. It has been such an amazing summer so far. Temps here have only reached 100 2 days so far this summer and we have had lots of rain to coll everything off and keep it all green. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful place to go to only 45 min away to relax and refresh and enjoy the outdoors. It is such a blessing!
