So, Sadie's Dr apptmnt went well. We have a name for the virus now, it is called para-influenza. Sadie has it but seems to be on the tail end. She had started a fever b/c she got a sinus and ear infection and is now on antibiotics. Yay! She should be feeling much better in the next 2 days or so.
Eloise is pretty alert for all the sedation she is on, which is good. I read her a book and rubbed her head and she kept opening her eyes slightly, so I know she can tell that i am here. Her stats seem to do better when I am near her. She is halfway through her blood transfusion and seems to be doing well so far. The dr pulled back on some of her assistance and was pleased that she hasn't gotten worse at this point.
