So the Drs have estimated that Eloise will be in the ICU for btwn 10days to three weeks. This is definitely a marathon and not a sprint! She has to be fully well, or close to that, before she can go home.
Last night she had a chest x-ray that showed some improvement, which was great! Today's xray showed a similar picture for which we are thankful, because according to the Drs these things usually get worse before they get better. So far Eloise has not gotten worse but has instead been staying the same or taking baby steps forward. Yay! Praise God. We will get another update this evening after they run her second set of labs. Right now she is resting comfortably in her bed and they are continuing to pull out more and more secretions from her lungs, which she HATES, but it is so good for her and is progress towards getting well. She is such a trooper!
As far as the rest of the family goes, Sadie is now on her antibiotics and seems to be showing improvement. My parents have been taking good care of her. I am sicker today than yesterday, but am using all medicines and techniques I can, within reason, to combat this thing. Hopefully it will not turn into an infection and will clear up soon. Bo began some symptoms today as well and is probably on the front end of this as well. Please pray for a quick recovery for everyone & for Bo's and my parents, that they wouldn't get sick as they so generously step in to help us!
Thank you to all of you who have called or texted, offered things, or prayed, we feel so thankful and supported. We are trying to be very careful at this point to not get anyone sick, so if you have young kids you should not visit us at this point, but can pray for us from afar:) Obviously this thing is pretty contagious and we have yet to see what course it takes in an adult, (other than myself). Hopefully I am almost through it and it doesn't get worse, but we will see. Thanks for caring about our family enough to read this and pray for us! God is so good to give us friends and a community around us to be his tangible hands and feet! We are blessed.

Great news. Thanks for the update. We will keep praying.
